A-Plan celebrates as Michelle makes it through to the final in the Oxfordshire Venus Awards
A-Plan, the high street insurance broker, with its head office in Witney and a branch on Witney High Street is celebrating as one its employees makes it to the final of the Oxfordshire Venus Awards. Michelle Jennion, a resident of Witney, has worked as an insurance consultant in A-Plan’s Witney branch for three and a half years, has just been named as a finalist for the customer service category at this year’s Oxfordshire Venus awards.
The Venus Awards began in 2009 and centres on recognising local working business women. The awards ceremony, also known as the Working Women’s Oscars, will take place on the 14th November at The Oxford Belfry Hotel and the staff at A-Plan, have their fingers firmly crossed that Michelle will win the customer service award.
The customer service award recognises individuals or businesses that go the extra mile, and nominees are put through a gruelling judging process before being whittled down to just three finalists. Michelle was nominated by one of her clients at A-Plan, Witney after she arranged hers and her husband’s insurance policy.
Michelle Jennion explained: “To be named finalist in these awards is an achievement in its own right and I feel very proud, particularly as nominations are made by clients. I appreciate that buying insurance can sometimes be confusing and that’s why I make it my priority to ensure our clients at A-Plan are given the service that they deserve and leave feeling comfortable and happy. I know how I would like to be treated and want to make sure that I treat people in the same way.”
“At A-Plan the focus is always on our clients and providing them with the best service we can. We are delighted Michelle has not only been nominated for the customer service award, but has been announced as a finalist. Regardless of the result, this is a fantastic achievement for Michelle” commented Gary Hooper, Branch Manager at A-Plan Witney.
