The circumstances of a claim involving an A-Plan client is such that we would ask you to consider helping a little – there is absolutely no obligation at all, and equally we thought there was no harm in asking!
Chris Williams-Ellis is a longstanding and loyal client of Thatcham, who was restoring a classic car in a barn at his home, when he was badly burned when it suddenly caught fire. His partner Catherine managed to pull him to safety, but unfortunately, Chris had suffered very severe injuries.

Despite everything that they were going through, Catherine somehow found the time and words to write saying how well and kindly they had been looked after by us through the claims process, and this letter reached us at DRS. There was no request for help beyond what Thatcham had already done, but the story was one that profoundly touched us here.
